Come join the team that's helping maintain America's submarines!Amentum wants a mid-level Material Support Logistics Analyst with Experience, Passion, and Purpose to provide a variety of acquisition logistics support tasks for the In-Service Submarine Program Office.Tasking will include:• Provide material subject matter expertise and programmatic support for Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), Obsolescence, and CANNAB Management.• Support Ship Configuration and Logistic Support Information System (SCLSIS) Program in tracking the population of material in the CDMD-OA database.• Provide material and logistics support for Material Process Team (MPT), Top Management Attention (TMA), Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Conference.• Provide availability support to enhance Material Availability (Am) to improve material forecasting for in-service submarine platforms CNO Availabilities.• Support Submarine Team One (ST1) material functional area working group with material oversight and management. • Input, track, review, and report status of Government/Contractor Furnished Equipment (GFE/CFE), material, and equipment configuration data.• Provide material support, forecasting, obsolescence management, and disposal recommendations.• Fleet, Naval Shipyards (NSY), Warfare Centers (WFC), etc. liaison for material support.• Operational Material and Support (OM&S) management oversight.• Direct liaison with DLA/NAVSUP/SEA 04 for all material related issues to include configuration management, OBRP reviews, and APL management.• Multi-submarine platform material support management.• Lead material research analyst for in-service submarine platforms.• NAVSUP/DLA material excess collaboration analyst.• Coordinate and provide material and logistical support during program reviews, integrated product/process teams, working groups or ILSMTs and track action items/milestones.• Working knowledge of modernization/alteration/material/ILS processes and IT tools.• Working knowledge of acquisition life-cycle logistics processes and tools.Minimum Requirements+ Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field and at least 7 years of job-related experience or equivalent+ Good communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detailed work.+ Occasional travel.+ Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US citizenship.Preferred Qualifications EOE including Disability/Protected ~~~ you are an applicant with a disability that requires a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, or are limited in the ability-or unable to use-the online application system and need an alternative method for applying, you may contact our Reasonable Accommodation Helpline at ~~~ or ~~~ or email ~~~ for assistance.
