  • Master Scheduler - Tecomet (Warsaw, IN Campus)

    Position Summary:

    The Master Scheduler at Tecomet- (Warsaw, IN campus) plays a pivotal role in coordinating and optimizing production processes across three sites. This position is responsible for driving efficient scheduling, capacity planning, lead time management, and supply planning within the organization. The Master Scheduler collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and meet business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Production Scheduling:

    2. Develop and maintain aggregate production and supply plans for all three sites.

    3. Monitor production progress, and coordinate schedule changes as needed to ensure timely completion of orders.

    4. Collaborate with production managers, supervisors, and operators to address scheduling challenges and order fulfilment risks.

    5. Capacity Planning:

    6. Evaluate production capacity based on available resources, equipment, and workforce.

    7. Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively coordinate the required allocation of resources to optimize production efficiency and meet production schedule

    8. Lead Time Management:

    9. Analyze lead times for raw materials, components, and finished goods.

    10. Work with procurement and logistics teams to minimize lead times and improve delivery performance.

    11. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):

    12. Participate in S&OP meetings to align production plans with demand forecasts.

    13. Balance inventory levels, production capacity, and customer requirements.

    14. Master Scheduling Functions:

    15. Maintain accurate records of production supply plans, changes, and adjustments, and ensure factory loading aligns with such plans to avoid overloading

    16. Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to ensure compliance with standards.

    17. Monitor production metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.

    • Proficiency in production scheduling and ERP systems .

    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    • Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple priorities.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to assimilate information quickly, possesses strong decision making abilities and organizational skills.

    • Knowledge of medical device industry is a plus.

    • High-Mix, Low-Volume manufacturing environment in a highly regulated contract manufacturing environment is a plus.

    • Knowledge of site ERP system and proficient with material requirement planning (MRP) and capacity planning.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, or equivalent software programs.

    • Knowledge of S&OP/IBP Planning and lean concepts.

    • Able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.

    • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

    • Strong leadership skills.

    • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

    • Able to recognize and solve practical problems that may deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    Physical Requirements:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be required to stand.
