    This position will support strategies to help drive increased profitability, process efficiency, reduced costs, and overall business improvement. Partner with leadership to deliver financial and strategic results through utilization of Financial Planning and Analysis best practices. Support corporate FP&A processes, initiatives and reporting within the function.

    Essential Functions:

    • Work closely with respective Corporate Functional leaders to budget, forecast, track and manage all expenses for assigned functional groups, with a primary focus on IT and Strategy functional groups.

    • Track costs and savings for all corporate initiatives and investments associated with our strategic plan.

    • Work side by side with IT/Strategy team members on a daily basis to provide any assistance necessary in tracking, monitoring, analyzing, reporting, understanding their spend and in presenting the findings and recommendations to management.

    • Document and validate forecast assumptions; ensure focus on forecasting accuracy, not under-promise over-deliver.

    • Provide recommendations and / or action plan to close gaps.

    • Support month-end close, prepare and distribute reporting packages.

    • Present detailed monthly financial reports to managers.

    • Work closely with the Shared Service Center to ensure seamless flow of information in support of financial close.

    • Help prepare and review required accruals and reclasses.

    • Analyze results; monitor expense drivers, highlighting trends, and underlying causes of variance, with the ability to summarize the information in monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc report outs for management.

    • Create variance analysis reports and financial models.

    • Understand all reporting systems capabilities in order to improve current processes.

    • Escalates any financial issues to management.

    • Collaborate with senior members of the accounting and finance teams.

    • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, related field, or equivalent.

    • 5+ years' work experience in accounting / finance role.

    • 3+ years' experience in a corporate setting or similar, with emphasis on areas such as reporting development, financial planning and analysis, business analytics, and financial modelling.

    • Experience utilizing: Microsoft Power BI tools, Hyperion, FCC, EPM, Anaplan model-building.

    • IT related experience preferred.

    • Ability to work with large volume of data using advanced software skills (MS Excel, MS Access, or other similar software).

    • Ability to resolve issues under tight timeframes and pressure.

    • Ability to prioritize assignments and projects and to multi-task within restricted time constraints.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication, team building, and planning skills

    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail orientation with solid analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop productive business relationships; and ability to influence and educate key internal clients

    • Process improvement and project and change management skills/experience.

    • Proactive work style; desire to take on additional responsibilities.

    Pay: $130,000.00-$160,000.00.
