    CACI is seeking a qualified Logistician to support the US Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS) program out of Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. (This is a Hybrid-Remote position. Candidates will work remote 2-3 days/week, but need to be local to Dayton to be onsite 2-3 days/week).

    The role of this position is to support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) program. The FIAR goal is to improve the Divisions financial management operations, as it pertains to Mission Critical Assets, such as Inventory and General Equipment.

    What You'll Get to Do:

    • Provides a focal point for all processes and procedures concerning all government property responsibilities.

    • Serves as a central point for all logistical functions pertaining to FIAR to ensure uniformity across all programs, as well as an Approving Official control.

    • Evaluate compliance through five assertions that are used as an overall checklist, the three primary assertions that require actions are:

    • Responsible for Financial Statement Assertions

    • Assists in establishing accountability and management policies for tangible DoD-owned equipment and other accountable property.

    • Complements the accounting and financial reporting requirements contained in DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) 7000.14-R.

    • Assist in developing Standard Operation Procedures and process that will provide clear guidance to IPTs in becoming FIAR compliant.

    • Assist in developing training for all functional areas (Contracting, Program Managers, Financial Managers, Configuration, Engineering, etc.)

    • Assist in developing a master schedule to track all programs within WNS to ensure all FIAR contractual requirements are incorporated into the program contract in order to begin the second phase of the implementation, which is accounted for all GFP in the accountable property system of records, DPAS.

    • Work with the existing Team and Director of Logistics to ensure this FIAR effort is prepared for audit readiness.

    You'll Bring These Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's and ten (10) years, Masters and eight (8) or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.

    • Knowledge of Air Force Logistics APSR (Accountability Program system of Record) Management.

    • Experience with Conducting Air Force Audits/inventory.

    • Must be a US Citizen and currently possess a Secret clearance.

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

    • Experience working in an Air Force or DoD environment.

    • Air Force/DOD Acquisitions experience.

    • Air Force Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) program knowledge.

    • Air Force Life cycle management program Knowledge.

    The proposed salary range for this position is

    $67,100-$141,000
