    Logistics Analyst Senior

Our work depends on Logistics Analyst Senior joining our team to provide support to PM DoD Biometrics' Army's Biometric Collection Capability (BC2) program. The BC2 program provides sustainment and fielding support services for the Biometrics Automated Toolset-Army (BAT-A), Near Real Time Identity Operations (NRTIO), Facial Recognition Binocular System (FRBS), and Voice Identity Biometric Exploitation Services (VIBES).

    HOW A LOGISTICS ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    • Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities

    • Responsible for ensuring customer expectations are met, exceeded, and managed as cost-effectively as possible.

    • Responsible for inventory control to accounting for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred.

    • Responsible for GCSS maintenance operation

    • Responsible for all purchasing, shipping and transportation, inventory, warehousing, and delivery activities.

    • Oversee business relationships with suppliers and customers.

    • Oversee the full order cycle.

    • Responsible for the overall performance of the logistical operations.

    • Explain proposed solutions to customers, management, or other interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations.

    • Review proposals and performance specifications between suppliers/subcontractors and the organization.

    • Maintain strong attention to detail.

    • Maintain a positive attitude and be a part of a cohesive team.

    • Plan and manage logistics, inventory, transportation, and customer services.

    • Review the success of logistical functions and identify areas for improvement.

    • Ensure the delivery of products on time and to the right location.

    • Compile and maintain metrics and CDRLs and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

    • Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

    • Compile, submit, and analyze accurate daily, weekly, and monthly CDRL reports

    • Carry out any additional duties requested.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

    ? Required Experience: 10 Years of Experience

    ? Required Technical Skills:

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    • Calmness under pressure.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    ? Security Clearance Level: Must Have: An active U.S. government SECRET clearance.

    ? Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Record of successful distribution and logistics management.

    • Ability to work independently or on teams to handle multiple projects.

    • Experience working in hostile and austere environments.

    • Experience in stock control and asset management.

    • Ability to perform several tasks at one time, keep detailed records, and simultaneously manage several projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).

    • Ability to use independent judgment when there are no policies or procedures in place.

    ? Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    ? Location: On-site position working out of the I3 offices.

    Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

    • A graduate of the U.S. Army Automated Logistical Specialist (MOS 92A) or Unit Supply Specialist (MOS92Y) course or a graduate of a technical school or manufacturers instruction course.

    • Extensive experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).

    • Experience in a forward-facing customer support role.

    • Excellent customer presence.
