    We are looking for a Lean Program Manager for our offices bases in Atlanta, GA.

    Position will require 30% travel to other manufacturing sites.

    Position Overview:

    The Lean Program Manager supports the Management Team to initiate, coordinate, implement, develop and lead all Lean activities. Assist the organization to define the Lean resources needed in the relevant Business Segment. In this role you will advise, inspire and mentor the senior management team towards driving the organization to lasting Lean culture. Assist with determining and setting specific Lean targets to align to business objectives. Advice, Train and coach the senior management team in the Lean philosophy approach, relevant methods and tools to establish a common Lean understanding and culture in order to help management drive Lean and become role model themselves. Support of Initiation, coordination, alignment and implementation of a comprehensive Lean program in the business with focus on sustainable and measurable business process improvement. Help the Head of the organization include Lean in their vision, blue sky and strategy as a basis for driving a Lean culture throughout the organization. Alignment of all continuous improvement programs in the organization to actively drive initiatives as part of an agreed upon common master plan.

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs, and implements process improvement initiatives.

    • Maps and evaluates existing processes, while defining and documenting Lean strategy.

    • Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-functional project teams. while developing metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying root cause of problems.

    • Measures performance against process requirements and align improvements to performance shortfalls.

    • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

    • Surveys and analyzes standard methodologies for techniques and processes.

    • Design a process to define the strategy of the BS using Hoshin Kanri methodology.

    • Perform cost and benefit analysis.

    • Define mechanisms to capture all nonproductive activities (NCC's, Rework hours, time utilization, etc.) and define countermeasures if needed.

    • Develop, recommend, and implement cost savings ideas.

    • Define a time study methodology and continuously control process times.

    • Balancing production lines using knowledge and skills.

    • Provide mentoring and advising to junior members on the team.

    • Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust, both internally and outside the organization.

    • Take initiative as problems and opportunities arise by anticipating and meeting customer needs and company expectations.

    Required Knowledge/Skills/Education:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.

    • 8-10 years' experience working in Manufacturing, lean facilitator or related experience (Focus on Operational Excellence)

    • Experience with workspace layout, ergonomic studies, and lean manufacturing.

    Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Education:

    • Green Belt certification.

    • The pay range for this position is $107k-$140K with a 10% incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
