  • The Lead Analyst will report to the Manager-Insolvency & Unclaimed Property in the Global Financial Services & Systems Department. This hybrid role will be located at our Beachwood, Ohio facility.

    The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

    What you'll do:

    The primary responsibilities include generating trade receivable recoveries and mitigating loss of receivables in a business-to-business environment, support global credit and collections operations by managing relationships of 3rd party receivable suppliers with the operational credit teams, performing select receivable reporting and analysis to senior management and working with credit and collection operations to identify and implement process improvement opportunities for select projects. The Lead Analyst will provide strategic analyses and recommendations to generate recoveries for bankrupt, insolvent, out of business and uncollectible customers by communicating with customers, third party service providers, internal/external legal personnel, and internal off-site credit teams. The role will assist team members in the consolidation of receivable data and the creation, monitoring and reporting of key department metrics and support Eaton's compliance with Unclaimed Property (UP) laws and regulations which includes the investigation of unclaimed property issues, the preparation and filing of unclaimed property reports, and supporting the unclaimed property supervisor in evaluating and resolving escheatment issues.

    In this function you will:

    Credit and Collections Responsibilities:

    • Research customer's legal entity, business structure and ownership.

    • Consult with credit teams to perform analysis possible receivable loss and risk mitigation tools.

    • Maintain the common database of bankruptcy filings, losses and recoveries across the Eaton platform. Involves collecting transaction documents, interpreting, documenting, validating and auditing collected information.

    • Generate and publish reporting to support operational credit and collection needs such as business performance, team metrics and key initiative performance. Develop power BI dashboards to support Manage relationship with 3rd party collections/receivable vendor personnel.

    • Assist with the implementation of 3rd party collection initiatives and lead training and process development with credit teams.

    • Support and lead on select credit and collections operational improvement projects: Such as training and SOP development, performing root cause and corrective action identification and implementation, and targeted collection support.

    Unclaimed Property Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with Eaton Property Holders, to ensure they are reviewing, researching and remitting all escheatable items that have reached their dormancy period.

    • Identify potential Business to Business exemptions, generate due diligence letters and state filings

    • UP team utilizing AUPTC software; generate payments to owners or unclaimed fund remittances to the appropriate government agencies

    • Assist in administration of Eaton UP Asset Recovery and Client Exchange program.

    • Monitor UP professional developments and work with Supervisor to communicate changes to Eaton Corporate management and FSS and GFSS, while staying current on ever-changing UP laws

    • Research transactions in Oracle and SAP, scan/copy bank and other documentation, coordinate responses from other areas within and outside of Eaton, draft remediation documentation for unclaimed property audits and Voluntary Disclosure Agreements (VDA) and upload documentation to outside consultants, legal counsel and auditors using web-based records retention system.

    • Perform outreach to Client personnel within and outside of Eaton to obtain information and documents to support UP Filings and audit remediation effort, as well as other formal or informal state compliance inquires.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field from an accredited institution

    • Minimum 1 year experience using financial and ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle).

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable

    • Basic knowledge on MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    • Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.

    • Relocation not available. Candidates must reside within 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years experience in Accounts Receivable

    • Advanced knowledge on MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    • Experience using Power BI
