Accounting Intern

• Check outlook emails daily for banks download, (sent by Treasury department), and emails coming from all Impact areas requesting information regarding the work we do for them
• Create monthly spreadsheet to keep track of all deposits made by Treasury and all EFT/ACH received in all 24 bank accounts daily; Updated the spreadsheet and reconcile accounts by the end of the month closing
• Record cash receipts for several bank accounts, charges, and credit memos for all Impact Areas in the FE program; Run reports to make sure the accounts are in balance and the data entered is accurate previous end of the month posting to the General Ledger
• Works cooperatively and collaboratively with internal departments and external partners
• Provide support with other finance tasks, as needed
