GENERAL FUNCTION: The performance analyst will monitor and perform quality control reviews for each period end investment performance calculations. Work with investment professionals to collect their client's investment policy mandates to configure accounts for household composites and assignment of investment benchmarks. Provide ongoing support and assistances to investment professionals for disseminating performance and benchmark investment returns. This position reports to the Investment Performance Team Lead and is part of IMG Shared Services Team.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with the performance calculation vendor and performs period end quality controls reviews to verify accuracy of portfolio and benchmark performance returns.

• Makes recommendations to the Investment Performance Manager for adjustments to performance return corrections.

• Receive and interpret request from investment professionals to configure performance systems for portfolios and household composites portfolios.

• Responds to investment professional requests and assists with any unique analyses or performance returns.

• Monitor and adjust portfolio and household relationships for new and closing accounts

• Assign single benchmarks or blended benchmarks to portfolios and composite groups.

• Work directly with portfolio managers, portfolio associates, and related investment professionals to provide guidance and interpretations on investment performance returns.

• Receive and process investment returns challenges form portfolio managers and collect details and follow procedures to escalate to Investment Performance Manager for resolution.

• Keep current and partner with related teams to understand the underlying investment accounting and security asset master reference data.

• Work under the guidance of the Investment Performance Manager to keep current on the firm's performance policies and procedures and assist with team to follow and adapt to new procedurally updates

• Assists with historical performance conversions, collapsing of sub-custodial accounts, or system upgrades.

• Helps manager and related teams to participate on process improvement initiatives.

• Works on projects as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft desktop applications

• Excellent written, verbal communication, and analytical skills.

• One to two years of investment industry or related experience.

• Prior Investment Performance experience not required but helpful.

• Must be detail oriented and able to handle direction.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like.

• Extended viewing of computer/monitor.
