Investment Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Mutual Fund Accountant in Denver, Colorado. This hybrid role, which includes two days in the office and paid parking, involves working with a local investment firm. The role is centered around fund accounting.

Responsibilities

• Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in fund accounting

• Hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree

• Demonstrate a curious personality and good relationship-building skills

• Show initiative in your work

• Be a team player focused on growth and learning

• Utilize your fund accounting skills to benefit the investment firm. Requirements - Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Fund Accounting

• Proficiency in fund accounting software and tools

• Understanding of Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, and other investment types

• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards in the investment industry

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred

• detail oriented certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
