Intern, International Trade & Compliance

We are seeking an Intern - International Trade & Compliance for Summer 2024 at our Huntsville location.

After orientation and training, the intern will Aid the Chief Technologist in Jurisdiction and Classification (J&C) of product parts from across the enterprise. Maintain and populate parts database using current Excel Spreadsheet, improve population of Schedule B and HTS fields, create map of rationale and/or links for future reference. Review current procedures for database and tools maintenance and update, investigate possible automation of importing data. Create draft command media describing procedural steps and methodology to determine classification of parts. Review material specifications against commercial specifications for potential cost savings, or identification of technical need for deviation.

Summer internships will start in approximately May/June and end in August/September.
