    What you'll do

    • Be a key point of contact for indirect sourcing requests for the Muskegon, MI site.

    • Interact closely with the broader indirect sourcing team to ensure global strategies are deployed effectively at the site.

    • Drive cost improvements by negotiating with suppliers and report on site key Indirect Sourcing metrics (e.g., savings, Days-to-Pay, etc.).

    • Lead regular site sourcing execution reviews with internal clients.

    • Lead site initiatives and projects related to indirect sourcing (e.g . small buy negotiations, supplier rationalizations, VMI, etc).

    • Drive simplification projects on sourcing processes and tools.

    • Conduct training on sourcing processes and serve as key point of contact on sourcing process inquiries.

    • Drive sourcing process compliance; Provide input to and deployment support of procedures and guidelines as necessary.

    • Accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders according to Cytiva' s standard process.

    • Facilitate Request for Quote (RFQ), analysis and negotiations for parts and services based on Cytiva's requirements.

    • Assist with contract development and execution.

    • Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.

    • Anticipate, negotiate, and execute deliveries on time.

    • Negotiate product characteristics (i.e.. Lead time, price, etc.) across multiple vendors simultaneously.

    • Monitor and review product usage patterns to mitigate supply chain risks.

    • Lead or collaborate across departments during supplier on-boarding.

    • Maintain current accurate records and files of all vendor agreements and related procurement records.

    • Ability to manage order to payment process.

    • Reconcile invoice issues and assist with goods receipt to ensure vendor payment.

    Who you are

    • BA or BS degree or other advanced degree in Business Administration, Economics, Purchasing or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in Sourcing, Project Management, Finance, or Operations; or at least 7 years procurement or sourcing experience.

    • Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

    • Ability to work collaboratively and productively with peers at various levels of the organization.

    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; strong PC and database management skills.

    • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of purchasing and a basic understanding of the supply chain management function.

    • Ability to comply with existing/quickly adapt to new processes within the organization

    • Experienced in communicating with external suppliers, and in negotiating and executing commercial contracts.

    • Strong communication (verbal, written & presentation); skilled in working collaboratively with remote personnel.

    • Proficient with Oracle ERP, SSP, or other purchasing systems.
