  • Job Description:

    The Human Resources Intern position is an exciting opportunity to learn about and work within the medical device/dental industry. An ideal candidate would desire a future position in the Human Resources function or other positions in the medical device industry. Skills learned during this internship will benefit an individual as they look to break into a meaningful corporate role upon graduating. An ideal candidate possesses a strong bias for action, willing to do what takes to get the job done and seeks out areas to make an impact. The position would start as full-time in the summer of 2023. The candidate may have the opportunity to continue as part time in the fall of 2023 through spring of 2024.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following

    • Work with US Human Resources team to brainstorm tactics, understand various training initiatives, and assist in moving projects from concept to execution.

    • Assist in the design and creation of training and communications materials (e.g. business unit Sharepoint Site, employee tools, training videos, posters, PowerPoint presentations, engaging emails).

    • Coordinate execution of training communication tactics going to leadership and employees.

    • Assist with set-up, in-session support and break-down of training classes

    • Develop and administer on-line surveys.

    • Assist in engagement efforts and employee activities to build upon our team and company culture.

    • Compile and analyze survey results, initiative completion status, and action plans ongoing.

    • Audit and provide support during onboarding process to ensure seamless new hire experience.

    • Maintains employee data information in HRIS (Workday). Conduct or assist with conducting job classification, compensation, and other audits as needed.

    • Administers HR departmental general and financial processes including budgets, vendor management, and accounts payable.

    • Other duties as assigned

    • Perform all duties in keeping with the Company's core values, policies and all applicable regulations.

    Job Requirements:

    Education/Experience/Requirements:

    • Current Junior student in process of obtaining of a Bachelors Degree

    • Overall GPA over 3.0 preferred

    • Ability to work 40 hours each week as this is a Full-Time internship

    • Interested in a career in Human Resources or other positions in the medical device industry

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Proven ability to build a project plan and execute that plan

    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    • Able to analyze data and build charts and summaries reflecting results

    • Strong organization and prioritization skills

    • Strong relationship building skills

    • A high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment

    Target Market Salary Range:

    Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

    $20.50 - $26.50 per hour
