    Responsibilities

    Human Resources Generalist

    Public Consulting Group (PCG) is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Capital Management (HCM) team. For the right, motivated individual, there is an excellent opportunity for career development and provide guidance on any of the following HR functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Attends business unit weekly meetings.

    • Consults with line management and employees, providing HR policy guidance when appropriate.

    • Use innovative, consultative, approaches to make continuous process improvements.

    • Help and assist with compensation, performance feedback, and career transitions.

    • Analyze people metrics and develop approaches around strategic directions.

    • Ensure the full life cycle employee transactions are performed (termination, transfers, promotions).

    • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, conducts effective, though, and objective investigations.

    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement and increase productivity and retention.

    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

    • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

    • Influence effectively across all practice areas on process improvement.

    • Participant with onboarding activities and requirements of new hires.

    • Collaborate with the HCM team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence.

    • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders on performance management and employee development goals.

    • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people related strategy and execution.

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated expertise in MS Office products, particularly SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

    Qualifications

    • BS or BA degree required

    • 3+ years of related experience in Human Resources.

    • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and experience working with employees and managers.

    Compensation

    Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.?As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $70,000 - $80,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role. .
