  • Description We are in search of a dedicated HR Generalist/Recruiter to join our manufacturing team in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of talent. Additionally, you will be actively involved in supporting HR growth initiatives and infrastructure projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the entire employment process from recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring compliance at all steps.

    • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to fill approved job opportunities through sourcing, researching, screening, and scheduling interviews for potential candidates.

    • Develop a recruiting plan in consultation with the Director, Human Resources, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources along with developing new, creative recruiting methods.

    • Proactively source for candidates using traditional strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting methods.

    • Develop a pipeline of candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies.

    • Utilize social media platforms to attract candidates and promote the benefits of employment.

    • Conduct reference and background investigation checks for candidates, striving to raise our hiring bar with each new recruit.

    • Refer the most qualified candidates to Business Units and assist in developing offer packages.

    • Develop and update Job Descriptions.

    • Complete Stay and Exit Interviews.

    • Track and maintain goals, metrics, and performance of the hiring cycle, and regularly communicate status and results to Manager.

    • Maintain records, spreadsheets, and current HR files and databases.

    • Propose and implement ongoing innovations and improvements to the recruitment process.

    • Support the Employee Engagement Committee as a committee member or through activities.

    • Provide support and assistance for other projects and programs in Human Resources.

    • Ensure completion of all legislated surveys, audits, and compliance reports.

    • Promote safety to others in accordance with safety policies and procedures, including reporting all safety concerns, near-misses, and incidents to their manager.

    • Adhere to company processes as detailed in the company's online systems and programs and bring forward ideas for continuous improvement. Requirements - Proven experience in a HR Generalist role within the manufacturing industry.

    • Proficient in the use of Ceridian and Dayforce for HR management.

    • Demonstrated ability in Full Cycle Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.

    • Experience in onboarding new employees and facilitating their integration into the company.

    • Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration.

    • Proven ability to source potential candidates from various channels.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

    • Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

    • Relevant HR certification, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, is a plus.
