    Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grant Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Grant Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and compliant management of grant funds. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of grant-funded projects, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with grant guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Grant Budgeting: Develop and monitor grant budgets in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders. Ensure that budgets align with grant requirements and organizational goals.

    • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for grant-funded projects, including budget vs. actual analysis. Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders and funding agencies.

    • Grant Compliance: Ensure compliance with grant guidelines, regulations, and reporting requirements. Stay updated on changes in grant regulations and proactively address compliance issues.

    • Financial Management: Manage grant funds efficiently, including tracking expenses, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts. Identify any discrepancies or irregularities and take corrective actions as needed.

    • Audit Support: Provide support during grant audits, including gathering financial documents, responding to auditor inquiries, and implementing audit recommendations.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with program managers, finance team members, and external stakeholders to ensure effective grant management and reporting.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant certification is preferred.

    • Proven experience in grant accounting or financial management, preferably in the non-profit sector.

    • Strong understanding of grant regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.

    • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.

    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
