  • Reporting to the Global Head of Corporate Operations, this newly created role will partner across HR, Global Business Services, and their COE's to help define and deliver enterprise-wide HR operations. The successful candidate will work closely with key HR leaders, COE's, and Delivery Centers to achieve operational efficiency. They will oversee global process ownership throughout all functional Hire to Retire elements. They will lead transformation of HR functional processes through design simplification, innovation, and automation, as well as help shape the initiatives around people, processes, and systems to be delivered as part of a multi-year transformation roadmap for WTW's HR organization.

    This role can be located anywhere with preference for candidates that can work in US Eastern Time zone.

    The Role

    • Lead HR Functional Operations future-state vision and the evolution roadmap, including the development and execution of HR transformation initiatives, end-to end global HR process redesign, as well as help establish further services to support high-volume digital transaction activity that can be delivered according to global standards.

    • (WE DO) to implement process improvement initiatives and centralize resources within the HR functional operations network. This includes end to end operational activities such as on/offboarding, recruiting, contingent workers, benefit administration etc.

    • Oversee global process ownership and lead HR transformation through design simplification, innovation, and automation.

    • Responsible for supporting HR Services as it pertains to operations and articulating the future vision of respective HR functional process. This includes designing related policies and procedures, identifying, and activating necessary digitization and optimization initiatives, mitigating risk, and ensuring that the end-to-end process meets business priorities.

    • Define and agree on Service Level Agreements with the HR Provider Network (SPN), including KPIs, and manage performance

    • Develop deep understanding of current HR systems, strategies, and priorities in alignment with resource and budgetary parameters

    • Manage risk, compliance, and governance to deliver a high-quality HR operating environment. Ensure compliance with all SOX and internal policies and procedures required to produce complete and accurate results impacted by work team

    • Knowledge of emerging technologies (i.e., machine learning, robotics, artificial intelligence, blockchain, natural language, IoT, etc.) and development of use cases to modernize HR

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to Senior HR leadership on current trends influencing HR organizations, best-in-classes processes and technologies, and successful program management practices

    • Maintains a continuous improvement approach to ensure processes and internal controls scale with changes in WTW's business, technologies and accounting policies, including streamlining of close, audit and reporting activities

    • Plan and allocate sufficient resources to initiatives, providing priority based on changing functional needs, resource capacity, risk exposure and interdependencies

    • Oversees change management programs for the finance team, including assessment, design, training, and communications

    • Supports long-term employee success with a focus on coaching and developing a high-performing team

    The Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in HR, GBS, or another quantitative field. MBA a plus.

    • +10 years of relevant experience in HR Operations and working in a matrixed environment

    • +10 years of HR centralization strategy and execution experience. Both onshore and offshore methodologies and management

    • Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking a plus

    • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills

    • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization

    • Experience with transformation and change projects is essential

    • Demonstrable ability to define processes and related support systems

    • Comfortable with change and uncertainty and able to work and lead through ambiguity

    • Strong negotiations and relationship management skills

    • Financial and business acumen as evidenced by having roles with progressively broader financial responsibilities

    • A can-do attitude and the ability to build credibility with stakeholders

    • Entrepreneurial team player who is curious, manages time effectively, and delivers personally with limited oversight.

    • Outstanding verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills

    • Availability to travel as business requires

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

    Compensation

    The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $165,00-$225,000 USD per year.

    This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
