    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all aspects of fund accounting operations, including financial reporting, NAV calculations, and reconciliation processes.

    • Lead and mentor a team of fund accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including investment managers and compliance teams, to address accounting-related issues and optimize processes.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, staying abreast of changes and implementing best practices.

    • Review financial statements, investor reports, and other fund-related documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability within the fund accounting function.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a preference for those with investment management industry and public accounting.

    • Strong understanding of GAAP and familiarity with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).

    • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

    • Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
