  • Description We are providing an opportunity for a skilled FP& A Analyst based in Providence, Rhode Island. The chosen candidate will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and planning, with a focus on the implementation and effective use of Anaplan. This role is a contract-based position that requires a strong background in finance and experience in system implementation.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and optimize the use of Anaplan within the organization

    • Work towards utilizing Anaplan to its full potential for budgeting and forecasting

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient budgeting processes

    • Use your FP& A background to model within Anaplan and other relevant software

    • Leverage your skills in finance, budgeting, and forecasting to add value to our financial planning processes

    • Ensure the implementation and proper usage of Anaplan and other related systems

    • Address and resolve any issues related to the use of Anaplan and other financial systems

    • Monitor and manage customer credit accounts, taking appropriate action for delinquent payments

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records

    • Process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately. Requirements - Demonstrable experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP& A) role

    • Proficiency in using Anaplan software for budgeting and forecasting

    • Comprehensive understanding of finance and budget processes

    • Strong experience in budgeting and forecasting

    • Ability to implement systems related to finance and budgeting

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

    • Professional certification such as CFA, CMA, or CPA is a plus

    • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment

    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

    • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
