    FISCAM BUSINESS SPECIALIST (AFSAC):

    Bowhead seeks a FISCAM Business Specialist to support the AFSAC contract located in Dayton, OH. This position provides business subject matter expertise to the Air Force Security Assistance Command (AFSAC). This includes providing Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) knowledge and supporting the preparation of AFSAC's key systems for audit. Specifically, the successful candidate will assist with the evaluation of key system and documentation compliance with FISCAM guidance, make system and documentation modification recommendations based on evaluation results, update documentation as required, participate in system audits, and support post-audit system remediation.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate key AFSAC systems and documentation for FISCAM guidance compliance.

    • Update key documents to align them with current FISCAM guidance. Coordinate updates for stakeholder review and signature.

    • Advise PMOs on how to engage auditors during on-site audit assessments and provide audit advise/counsel to PMOs during DoD IG or Independent Public Accounting (IPA) firm audits.

    • Collaborate with the Audit Readiness Team to evaluate IT and system processes/controls against Government mandated Compliance Guidance to determine the effectiveness of system controls.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of four (4+) years of relevant experience is required.

    • BA/BS in related field is highly preferred.

    • Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) experience

    • Experienced in interfacing with technical, functional, and senior system program personnel.

    • Experience studying and analyzing system or process problems and needs of selected programs to determine how to best solve the problems and accomplish improvements in audit readiness.

    • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point.

    • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Demonstrated strong attention to detail.

    • Demonstrated skills in prioritization and multi-tasking.

    Physical Demands

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

    • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

    • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

    SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pass a standard background check.
