Financial Business Analyst

Description

We have teamed up with a large non-profit on their search for a Financial Business Analyst with heavy healthcare experience. This role will consist of financial planning, performing ratio analysis, forecasting to support budgeting and planning processes, developing analytical methods, monitoring actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis, staying up to date on industry trends, economic conditions, and market developments that may impact the organization's financial performance. The ideal Financial Business Analyst for this role must have strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.

Major Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, forecasting and reporting

• Develop strategic initiatives

• Budgeting & Forecasting

• Maintain knowledge of regulations and policies

• Establish possible operational cost savings

• Prepare financial reports with key metrics

• Coordinate the annual budgeting process

• Establish financial trends and make recommendations

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations

Requirements

The ideal Financial Business Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or similar.

Other requirements for the Financial Business Analyst role include and are not limited to

• 3+ years business/finance experience within a healthcare industry

• Hospital and/or behavioral health industry experience a HUGE PLUS

• Advanced experience with MS Excel and date warehousing

• Paycom experience a big plus
