Financial Analyst

In this role, you will be conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role, which is located in the Tucson, Arizona, is a permanent employment opportunity. How you will make an impact

• Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks

• Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)

• Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations

• Produce and monitor forecasting reports

• Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

• Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

• Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting

• Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes

• Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations

• Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

• Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required Requirements - Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

• Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)

• Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Power BI experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Annual Budget experience

• Budget forecasting experience

• Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus

• Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• 1+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
