Finance Intern - Tax

What will you be doing in this role?

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax-exempt Federal and state returns for the organization and its affiliates.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of for-profit Federal and state corporate returns.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of pass-through Federal and state partnership and/or LLC returns.

• Review source document and analyze financial information.

• Prepare tax workpapers.

• Prepare annual filings with the Secretary of State's office.

• Prepare applications and renewals with the LA County Registrar/Recorder office.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of other returns and governmental forms.

• Research tax and corporate issues.

• Organize files.

Requirements:

• Education: currently majoring in Accounting or Accounting-related field

• Experience & skills:

• Exceptional attention to details

• Strong analytical & accounting skills

• Excellent Excel skills

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills including (written & oral)
