    An Environmental Planner/Analyst is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering. Remote work. This role entails leading environmental planning efforts, ensuring compliance with NEPA and other regulations, preparing documentation such as EAs and EISs, engaging with agencies and stakeholders.

    responsibilities

    • Conduct technical analysis and documentation.

    • Ensure environmental compliance.

    • Engage in agency and public outreach.

    • Communicate with clients.

    • Prepare environmental documentation such as Categorical Exclusions (CATEX), Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).

    • Meet the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other federal review requirements.

    • Support compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.

    • Provide supplemental NEPA experience page with details of EAs and EISs worked on.

    Skills

    • Contribution to at least 5 EAs or EISs in the last five years, documented by inclusion on the list of preparers in the final EA or EIS.

    • Experience with online databases (e.g., NEPAssist) from regulatory and governmental agencies.

    • Ability to work independently with general direction and minimum supervision.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering, or related field.

    • 7 or more years of related work experience.
