    Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator

    Location: Columbia, MD (Home Office with Local Travel)

This individual would be responsible for managing a pipeline of new and existing customers and trade allies to ensure our programs meet participation goals. The successful candidate will contribute to the midstream team by being responsible for the internal operations of the programs, supporting the program management with tasks such as reporting, application review, forecasting, partner training and onboarding, marketing development, and client support.

    What you will be doing:

    • Work as part of the midstream energy efficiency team ensuring that the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed.

    • Manage onboarding process for distributors and contractors, including developing procedures, coordinating documentation, guiding individuals, ensuring compliance, evaluating, and improving processes, and serving as a point of contact for concerns.

    • Review project application forms and submittals by customers, contractors, and other program participants in order to ascertain compliance with program policies and procedures.

    • Provide technical assistance and guidance on energy efficient technologies and practices to companies participating in utility-sponsored programs.

    • Interface daily with contractors and distributors participating in utility sponsored programs.

    • Perform energy savings calculations for energy efficiency measures and upload records into program database.

    • Process paperwork for program incentive payments per established policies and procedures.

    • Coordinate with or follow up on program quality control activities such as inspections and customer surveys as appropriate.

    • Conduct lighting, HVAC, and other energy using equipment surveys to verify installation and operation of energy efficiency equipment

    • Maintain strong ongoing communications with participants and other interested stakeholders in order to assess their needs and to receive feedback on their experience with the program.

    • Prepare ongoing status reports to document performance and activities demonstrating progress towards program goals, participation, and pipeline management.

    • Review and analyze QA/QC data reported to client.

    • Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are between 30% to 50% of the time. (reimbursement for mileage provided)

    What we need you to have (minimum qualifications)

    • Bachelor's degree in (business admin, Energy, Environmental Science, or related field) and

    • 1+ Years of experience working with databases and developing and/or implementing data collection, tracking and reporting processes (i.e. customer relationship management (CRM) efforts)

    • 1+ years of experience and proficiency in MS Office Applications (Dynamics, Word, Outlook, Excel)

    • Strong follow-up and follow through skills and ability to successfully manage projects

    • Prior experience or a strong interest in one or more of the following is a plus:

    • Experience performing energy audits and energy savings calculations.

    • Lighting retrofit designs and assessment and installation.

    • HVAC System assessment, operations, and maintenance.

    • Interacting with business owners, representatives, and other key stakeholders.

    • Experience with data analytics and reporting.

    Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

    $49,148.00 - $83,552.00
