Growing Global Pharmaceutical Company seeks a Controller to lead one of their US Subsidiaries.

responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting team responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation.

• Oversee the Accounting department, including budget preparation and audit functions.

• Ensure the timely production of periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.

• Manage tax planning throughout the fiscal year and complete the annual corporate tax return.

• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, collaborating with external auditors as necessary.

• Provide recommendations to management regarding both short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.

• Conduct financial analysis focusing on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal government requirements.

• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.

• Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.

• Review the planning process and propose enhancements to current methods.

• Manage Product Costing and Recovery.

• Perform other relevant duties as required or assigned.

qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience with at least 3+ years working for a Pharmaceutical or Consumer Products Company.

• CPA highly desired.

• Proficiency in database and accounting computer applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Thorough knowledge of accounting rules and regulations.

• Ability to effectively utilize accounting software systems, or Finance.

Please note this role requires the Controller to work in office 5 days a week. Please do not if you can not commit to this.
