    Job Summary

    We are looking for a Head of IT Procurement and Vendor Management to join our team and oversee the relationship and performance of our IT vendors and partners. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts with all technology and IT vendors that provide us with products and services that support our business needs and goals. This leadership role will have accountability for overall IT Vendor contract, performance, relationship and risk management as well as ensuring that they deliver quality, timely, and cost-effective IT solutions. You own and must be adept at contractual, commercial and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure effective delivery of committed products, services and solutions. This role reports directly to the VP of IT Business Operations.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and set the strategic direction, mission and vision of the vendor management office (VMO) or vendor management capability in alignment with the strategic and operational objectives of the technology organization and the broader enterprise.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders - including IT and business resources, sourcing and procurement - to develop criteria and best practices for vendor selection.

    • Manage the maintenance/enhancement of tools for use in vendor management, including vendor tracking, analytics and performance management tools.

    • Serve as the leadership-level point of contact between the vendors and internal customers consuming vendor services and solutions.

    • Manage the collection, consolidation and communication of reporting and data on vendor contracts, performance, risk and relationships to key stakeholders and vendors.

    • Manage/oversee the creation and maintenance of a repository of vendors in a contract management database or similar solution to track key engagement milestones (expirations, renewals).

    • Maintain an inventory of vendor spend by category (software, hardware, telecom, staff augmentation, services), cost center and region.

    • Manage vendor relationships as the key point of contact between specified vendors and the business and serve as a point of escalation for vendor issues and disputes and drive those issues to resolution.

    • Oversee the measurement and reporting of vendor performance, including the development of evaluation tools based on stakeholder needs, and the creation of scorecards and dashboards that will accurately present this data.

    • Maintain vendor risk assessments or risk registers in cooperation with risk, privacy, business continuity and security teams.

    • Source, evaluate, and select IT vendors and partners that meet our business requirements and standards

    • Develop the (global) IT procurement strategy that is aligned with the overall corporate IT- and business strategy priorities and translate corporate IT and business imperatives into IT procurement targets.

    • Delivering best-in- class technology products and services with the right balance of cost control, risk mitigation and speed

    Job Requirements:

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field

    • A Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) or other advanced degree is desirable.

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or a similar role

    • Certification in ITIL, PMP, or a related discipline is an asset

    • Strong knowledge of IT vendor management methodologies, tools, and best practices

    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

    • Ability to manage multiple IT vendors and partners in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

    • Ability to analyze and report on IT vendor and partner performance and outcomes

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Preferred

    • Experience with supplier contracts and/or supplier management is a plus.

    • Experience with offshore and managed service provider contracts.

    • Experience about laws and regulations applicable to global contracts.

    • Experience with Contract Law.

    • Understanding of Agile contracts.

    Target Market Salary Range:

    Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
