    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    U.S. Bank is seeking a highly effective and dynamic individual to drive significant successes for our internal partners' data analytics needs and present mid-to-senior leaders with clear storyboards which enable confident and real-time responses in achieving their strategic initiatives. Individual project success is aided through our centralized data analytics team, leveraging cross-training peer support, proven best practices, guidance, and support of our senior members and through powerful ETL products such as Alteryx and business intelligence solutions of Domo and Power BI. Each team member's voice matters as we strengthen our foundation, grow our business, and refine and elevate operational excellence.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for working on big data/analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, performs analysis, interprets results and develops actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company. Acquires data from multiple data sources in order to perform analysis. Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data in order to provide answers to business questions as well as provide recommendations for action. Interprets data and analyze results using various statistical techniques and tools.

    REQUIRED

    • Three to four years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

    PREFERRED

    • Effective ability to create and manipulate SQL code to extract from databases

    • Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

    • Demonstrated project management skills

    • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

    • Proven proficiency in Alteryx

    • Knowledge of Domo and Power BI

    This position offers a hybrid/flexible schedule which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $73,610.00 - $86,600.00 - $95,260.00
