As Private Client Data Analyst you will provide historical, current, and predictive views of the business to support key stakeholders in decision-making. You will design and execute a reporting strategy for the Private Client business unit. The Private Client Data Analyst will drive critical reporting decisions and provide actionable data insights that will allow for more informed decision making. Responsibilities will include working with HUB's Private Client leadership team, the data and analytics team, and regional HUBs to develop reports and dashboards, analyze ongoing business opportunities through data, and assist the Private Client and HUB team in achieving financial targets.

Success is measured by the ability to perform in-depth analyses, give recommendations, and deliver solutions to the organization that positively impact the company's bottom line

Other responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with various stakeholders to understand current business needs and developing an effective reporting strategy to analyze business opportunities.

• Applying data analysis tools and techniques to provide insights and actionable recommendations for the business

• Generate reports in PowerBI, Excel and other similar tools based on collected data

• Identify trends within the data and identify types of data needed to track

• Participating in meetings with executives and management, demonstrating an understanding of the data, its potential uses and strategic impact Providing analysis on industry trends and appropriate data comparison

• Working with the data and analytics team to design and implement reports and dashboards

• Utilize Carrier Insights, HUB monthly forecasts, and other tools for plotting progress to revenue goals

• Develop and maintain current knowledge of HUB's core business partners and their products

• Work with HUB Producers, Account Executives and their teams to support them with data analytics to impact HUB growth and client retention

Job Requirements:

In the Data Analyst role, you must be an independent professional responsible for delivering certain reports on a repeatable and efficient schedule while also being nimble enough to respond to ad hoc requests. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance or analysis professional interested in having a career that demands collaboration with colleagues and interaction with carrier innovators, managers, and executives.

Other requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree with a major in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or Insurance preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in the same or related role preferred

• Ability to create standard and ad hoc reports

• High proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office products

• Knowledge and experience with Power BI and/or applied AMS

• Ability to derive insights and create recommendations

• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong listening skills and the ability to determine report parameters

• Previous experience at a carrier or insurance broker preferred

• Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills required

• The preferred candidate is a team player with self-motivation, and the ability to meet critical deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
