Our client is looking to hire a Cost Financial Analyst. This position will support the centralized Supply Chain Finance function of the company. The Cost Financial Analyst position is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and validation of costs across multiple legacy financial systems, including annual inventory standard cost planning process, quarterly cost updates, calculation of estimated costs for new items and cost impacts of formula changes. This is a 6 month assignment that could be extended. 100% Remote but must sit in EST time zone (preferred) or CST. Qualifications:

• Must have Product Costing experience

• Bachelors Degree, Accounting / Finance / Business / Information Systems majors preferred, or equivalent work experience

• ERP Manufacturing Module experience (Oracle highly preferred) or SAP also preferred.

• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Access a plus

• Must be detail-oriented and capable of analyzing cost data

• 3- 5 years accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Solid verbal and written communication skills

• Team player able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Analytical skills and solid attention to details

salary: $40 - $45 per hour

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and validation of costs across multiple legacy financial systems, including annual inventory standard cost planning process, quarterly cost updates, calculation of estimated costs for new items and cost impacts of formula changes.

• Works across multiple functions including Bakery Finance teams, R&D, & Corporate Finance to complete assigned responsibilities.

• Ability to work in various Oracle platforms and Excel for cost analysis

• Requires solid accounting and analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail.

• Ability to multi-task to perform duties and responsibilities within scheduled time frames with a high degree of accuracy.
