Supports the bank''s commercial banking business plan by developing new commercial banking customers. Services and expands the existing customer base under the general direction of the manager. Handles corporate loans with a loans outstanding portfolio of $25,000,000 to $50,000,000. Total Loans and Deposits should be between $35,000,000 to $75,000,000. May supervise up to 3 support personnel.
Maintains a high level of knowledge of the commercial construction industry, all products and services and commercial lending practices including marketing, pricing, underwriting, and credit structuring. Assists with the development of a calling plan consistent with the department''s marketing plan, existing customer and personal relationships.
Makes business development calls according to the marketing plan. Qualifies potential new credits, deposits and other sales opportunities. Analyzes financial statements and other documents and with the assistance of other officers and loan administration structures credits consistent with the bank''s underwriting guidelines and practices.
Manages loan closings. Identifies and pursues opportunities to cross-sell other bank products. Monitors loan quality for possible past-due problems and for credit and collateral exceptions. Works with customers to correct any possible loan quality problems in a timely manner. Provides direction and guidance to junior loan officers.
Bachelor''s Degree (BA, BS, etc.) in a related field required with Five (5) years of banking experience. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
