Newly created role with a growing manufacturing company (Appliance, electrical and electronics) located in the NW of Houston!

Great opportunity for a next step candidate that has knowledge of day-to-day AP/AR, payroll, system implementation, process improvement with the drive to use that experience to take on a Controller role!

Our client offers an hybrid schedule after the training period!

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP for all subsidiaries

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support overall Company objectives

• Manage and develop the team for all accounting aspects

• Create and/or implement best practices to support efficiency and spending opportunities

• Monitor cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity

• Analyze jobs and manufacturing costs

• Lead external auditors for financial review

• Performing other duties and supporting staff as required or assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA required

• Experience with a manufacturing or project-based accounting

• Excellent communication
