Job Description:

As Controller, you will direct and oversee our financial activities, including strategic planning, risk management, financial reporting, and investment strategies. You will be critical in strategic decision-making, working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and implement financial strategies and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all fiscal reporting activities for the organization, including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to stakeholders, tax returns, and other financial transparency requirements.
• Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies per the company's targets.
• Work closely with the executive team and board members to make strategic financial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Supervise investment strategies and direct fundraising efforts and sales strategies.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Review all formal finance related procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. MBA or CPA certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of financial experience, with at least 10 years in executive leadership positions.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
