  • Description Robert Half is recruiting a Compliance Specialist for the downtown San Francisco office (some telecommute) of an international tech-based information services company who advises corporate, private equity, and management consulting clientele. This is a unique opportunity with a fast, mapped-out growth path for a very bright, up-and-coming paralegal or compliance professional. There is a very good training program, mentorship from two Sr. Compliance Managers, and this reports to the VP of Global Compliance. The Compliance Specialist is responsible for running conflicts of interest checks on new client matters, assisting with the development and implementation of the global compliance program, train account managers and client services teams on risk management priorities, and provide operations guidance to internal stakeholders as needed. The following are the qualifications for the Compliance Specialist: · 1-2+ years in a legal services, risk or compliance management, paraprofessional position; · B.A. / B.S., with good academic record; · Good technical proficiency with office software, especially MS Word, PowerPoint, and (to a lesser extent) Excel; · Very strong oral and written communication skills, and highly responsive; · Excellent time management and organizational skills; and · Wants a career that involves and would succeed in critical analysis and resolution of complex scenarios. Our client is offering a starting salary of $72,000 - 88,000+/yr. There is a significant salary bump after the first year of service, and another big raise when the Specialist is eligible for a promotion in their second year of service.
