    The role you'll contribute:

    The Senior Compensation Analyst supports the design, analysis, and administration of AdventHealth's compensation programs that align with the business strategy, including base pay, incentive pay, and various premium pay programs to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity within assigned markets. The incumbent supports and communicates pay structure design, pay grades, and pay decisions that align with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines and performs job evaluations, develops/maintains job descriptions, and job architecture for assigned markets. Participates in compensation survey process, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.

    The Senior Compensation Analyst also provides mentoring and training to Compensation Analysts. Partners with assigned markets to understand business needs and proactively applies compensation knowledge to develop solutions. Serves as a trusted advisor/resource to HR Business Partners in assigned markets.

    • Provides both mentoring and training to team members within Compensation.

    • Researches current company practices and industry best practices to strategically formulate recommendations policy and program design and optimization of business processes.

    • Ensures the ongoing integrity of the job architecture framework by effectively educating and communicating with HRBP's and leaders as required.

    • Conducts job pricing utilizing compensation best practices and AH guidelines to formulate recommendations for pay grade placement.

    • Reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate exempt or non-exempt assignment in accordance with federal regulations.

    • Conducts data audits to optimize business processes while eliminating unwarranted administrative variation.

    • Administers the job description business processes (e.g., reviewing for accuracy/drafting/editing job descriptions).

    • Effectively communicates to team members/managers as needed, bringing questions of interpretation and escalating issues to lead or manager as needed.

    • Maintains ongoing and up-to-date knowledge of company-wide policies, AH structure/leadership, and industry best practices.

    • Assists with annual market adjustment process as requested.

    • Conducts industry compensation comparisons, validates market survey data, and performs compensation analysis.

    • Analyzes the impact of new programs or changes to programs, preparing reports that indicate facility differences and potential impacts including costs, workforce impacts, procedure impacts and communication impacts.

    • Serves as an information source regarding pay practices and policies; provides advice to leadership on new or non-routine compensation decisions for employees, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation.

    • Consistently seeks to understand new compensation and regulatory trends and their impact on national and local labor markets.

    • Maintains a working knowledge of AH's benefits and their role in our Total Rewards market positioning.

    • Understands AdventHealth's various markets and their place within the organizational structure.

    • Proactively seeks additional projects as workload varies.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

    • Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree plus two years of work experience within a Human Resources team environment required

    • Minimum four years of experience

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    • MarketPay or other online survey library experience

    • Human Capital Management (HCM) experience

    LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

    • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
