Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Description

One of our Insurance clients is hiring for a commercial lines account manager. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

- Providing excellent customer service while managing an existing book of Commercial business

- Providing support to producers and clients to pre-qualify, quote, and place Commercial insurance

- Build and maintain highly effective relationships with and between carriers, producers, and other staff

- Continually review client's coverage, suggesting improvements and rounding out the account when possible

- Support producers in the marketing of both new and renewal accounts

• Adhere to agency workflows and procedures for all tasks

Skills and Requirements

• Thorough understanding of basic insurance concepts and principles

• Minimum 3-5 years of insurance agency experience

• Property and casualty (P&C) license OR willingness to get become licensed upon hire

• Knowledge of an agency management system (Epic preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel -Carrier rating experience

• Experience with Epic (Broker Briefcase and Zywave are similar platforms that are transferrable)

• Experience with the portal CSR24

• PL Rating or ACS (Agency Computer Systems) null
