Color Inspector

Job Description

In this lab they evaluate color for textiles. They make approvals and rejections for production lots based on color quality. The color inspector will be establishing color tolerances. He/she will do a visual assessment to determine if the product meets standard for pre-approved products.

-Technician will be receiving/gathering production samples for evaluation

• They will be articulating and communicating color decisions (pass/fail) and why, maintaining records, inputting comments into an Excel spreadsheet

-Will be communicating with other lab technicians and QC inspectors

Skills

Color Acuity, communication and people skills, microsoft excel, Chemistry, Inspection, Sample, Quality control, Laboratory, excel data entry

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must pass the Farnworth Munsell 100 Hue Test with a Superior rating

• 6 month + experience working in lab environment

• Have basic skills in Excel

• Superior written and verbal communication
