Claims Administrator

Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to join our company as a Claims Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible to manage workers compensation claims from start to finish, collaborate with medical professionals and legal counsel, and strive to ensure a fair and quick resolution. Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and manage workers compensation claims.

• Collect detailed information of the case, evaluate insurance policies to determine coverage.

• Work closely with medical professionals, legal counsel, and others to handle claims efficiently.

• Coordinate the necessary resources for a prompt and fair settlement of claims.

• Handle all correspondences and ensure that all parties are kept updated with claim statuses.

• Comply with all legal requirements, industry regulations, and customer quality standards set by the company.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a relevant field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling workers compensation claims or a related role.

• Exceptional knowledge of local, state, and federal workers' compensation laws and procedures.

• Strong computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organization and time management skills.

• Able to analyze complex data accurately and make judgment decisions.

• Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, customer service, and interpersonal skills
