Business Intelligence Analyst

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining strategic business intelligence systems for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for the development lifecycle, from assessing system requirements to implementing and maintaining solutions that leverage data analysis, information delivery, and data integrity. Your primary focus will be on utilizing Power BI to create impactful insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• System Design and Development:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into system requirements.

• Design and develop business intelligence systems, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, using Power BI.

• Implement the full development life cycle (SDLC) for data-driven solutions, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.

• Develop and maintain data models in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

• Data Analysis and Insights:

• Gather, clean, and transform data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.

• Utilize SQL queries and other data manipulation techniques to prepare data for analysis.

• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders through compelling reports, presentations, and visualizations.

• Data Integrity and Management:

• Implement and maintain data governance processes to ensure data quality and consistency.

• Develop and monitor data quality checks and validations.

• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data accessibility and security.
