    About the Opportunity

    Asplundh Tree Expert (Asplundh) is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Asplundh Innovate Team, reporting to the Application Development Manager. The Innovate Team provide digital technology & solutions across key parts of the business and have international relations with the Australian Tech Team. They are a diverse international team that operate across all levels of the business. This position can work remotely.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Be a key member of the Innovate Team to develop and support critical business solutions & projects, including the Vegetation & Asset Management Solution.

    • Collaborate with development, reporting and business intelligence platforms

    • Provide support to understand and determine high-level business requirements and then develop dashboards to identify trends and value creation opportunities.

    • Support efforts to improve data integrity and quality.

    • Identify and develop processes that improve efficiency and derive value for the organization.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    Strong communication skills, performance & proficiency management, time management, coordination, training, financial planning and strategy management, efficient in standards development, sound in decision making and strategic management, positive approach.

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role

    • Understanding of technology platforms including FME, SQL & Power BI is preferred.

    • Experience with software development life cycle

    • Ability to assess a situation, seek multiple perspectives, gather more information if necessary, and identify key issues that need to be addressed; breaking information into components, patterns and relationships, probing for further information or greater understanding of a problem.

    • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.

    • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.

    • Strong aptitude for process improvement and change management.

    • Knowledge of or experience working with utility and or government clients (desirable).
