  • As an Automotive Engineering Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top engineering talent within the automotive industry. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand their staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and execute sourcing and hiring plans to fulfill organizational objectives. This role demands a strong understanding of automotive engineering principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in talent acquisition within the automotive sector.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to develop recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.

    2. Attract, source, screen, and interview candidates using various methods like online sourcing, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.

    3. Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate their technical skills, experience, and fit for automotive engineering roles.

    4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring all relevant information is detailed.

    5. Compose compelling job descriptions and post job openings on various online platforms to attract.

    6. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future engineering positions.

    7. Employer Branding: Promote Capgemini's employer brand by effectively communicating its values, culture, and opportunities to potential candidates.

    8. Candidate Engagement: Build and maintain relations with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience and addressing their queries or concerns.

    9. Offer Management: Collaborate with hiring managers to extend job offers, negotiate compensation packages, and facilitate the onboarding process for successful candidates.

    10. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, hiring managers, and department heads, to understand hiring needs, provide regular updates on recruitment progress, and address any challenges or concerns.

    Must Have:

    • 5-8 years of experience as a recruiter, preferably within the automotive industry or a related field.

    • In-depth understanding of automotive engineering principles, including vehicle systems, components, and manufacturing processes.

    • Strong documentation skills and proficiency within the MS Office Suite

    • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices.

    • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other HR software.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other collaborators to create a positive candidate experience.

    • Excellent evaluation and decision-making abilities.

    • Ability to handle and manage multiple requisitions while maintaining attention to detail.

    • Sound knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and standard processes related to recruitment and selection.

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
