Audit Staff - Public

Description

Robert Half, has partnered with a local CPA firm in search of a Senior Accountant on the audit side. This firm offers work from home days and fosters an excellent culture of teaching, training and developing their Staff. Will pay market rate!

• Conducts and completes entire assignments, i.e. can handle larger/complex assignments from start to finish

• Ability to work without supervision

• Prepares time budges for assignments, evaluates budget to actual results, and seeks understanding of the client billing process

• Participates in the billing process in effort to obtain highest billings possible in such process, i.e. ensuring full communication of issues on assignments to avoid leaving billings "on the table"

• Relates firm service offerings to potential service opportunities for current clients and communicates identified opportunities to supervisor/PIC

• Fosters a teamwork environment

• Offers solutions to scheduling/workload conflicts or challenges

• Maintains professional and regular rapport with client personnel

• Achieves level of continuing education (regardless of certification status) required by firm standards

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

CPA or CPA in progress
