    This position will follow our hybrid work model; we expect the selected candidate to work 2-3 days a week at our St. Petersburg, FL, corporate office.

    Job Summary

    As the Associate Director of Product Management, you will have some contact with all management levels and other internal customers and will be required to manage the roadmaps and prioritization of multiple technology products of different scales. You will manage a team responsible for product management, which includes roadmap management, creation of business requirements, participation in the development of educational and marketing materials, oversight of product launches, and more. An in-depth knowledge of product management methodologies, people management skills, and the ability to work closely with advisors and other stakeholders are key skills needed to be successful in this role.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Participate in multiple project initiatives related to the overall design and development of new technologies and enhancements to existing technologies.

    • Serve as a liaison between IT and financial advisors to gain information to drive strategy and product prioritization.

    • Review and perform competitive analysis to evaluate and document product, technology, and operational stack against competitor's offerings to identify improvements and updates for industry best practices.

    • Analyze business and user needs, document business requirements, and lead design and implementation of appropriate technology solutions from a product management perspective. Provide oversight and validation during the development and testing process.

    • Directly or through team management, collect and analyze information, interview subject matter experts (SMEs), observe operations and use business systems and processes knowledge to identify solutions to specific problems.

    • Assist in planning and implementing change management initiatives.

    • Track and collect performance and status information to develop management reports and planning processes.

    • Represent stakeholders on project teams and assist in solving problems with moderate to complex cross-functional systems and processes.

    • With minimal oversight, develop strategies for new product development and launch.

    • Present to all levels of leadership as well as financial advisors and other customer bases

    • Use significant judgment on moderate to complex business problems

    • Work well with a team to accomplish the objectives of the department.

    Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

    Education/Previous Experience

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field and ten (10) years of relevant experience, including management or leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

    Licenses/Certifications

    • None required.
