  • Position Description:

    The Asset Management Analyst will support the Asset Management functions of a large and diverse multi-family apartment portfolio.  The Analyst will be exposed to all aspects of the property’s life cycle, from its initial operations to stabilized operations, to disposition.

    Essential Functions:

    The Asset Management Analyst’s primary duty is to assist the Senior Asset Managers and other department staff with the tasks and projects identified below.

    •     Analyses to support the release of capital installments to the developer through stabilization;

    •     Establishing and maintaining relationships with General Partners and management agents;

    •     Researching rental market trends and operational or other property issues and preparing analytical materials for management plans;

    •   Processing replacement reserve withdrawals;

    •     Analyzing performance deficiencies and   developing projections, performance plans and workout scenarios for troubled properties;

    • Data entry into TCB’s property database;
    • Review of legal documents to understand deal terms;
    • Direct asset management of a small portfolio of properties, including review of financial statements and partnership tax returns, quarterly reporting to investors and conducting site visits.

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
    • 2+ years of real estate or related financial experience
    • §  Section 42 tax credit experience a plus
    • Strong analytical skills
    • MS Excel proficient
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while managing conflicting priorities.
