Area Credit Analyst

Description We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team in Ft. Worth, Texas. As part of our team, you will be responsible for collecting funds, establishing and reviewing customer credit limits, and responding to customer inquiries. You will also work in a dynamic telecom industry, processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit issues.

Responsibilities

• Collection of funds through daily customer contacts and timely follow-up activities.

• Establish and review customer credit limits.

• Conduct financial analysis for credit limit adjustments and generate necessary reports.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts.

• Investigate customer over or under payments.

• Execute necessary legal instruments to protect the security interest of the employer.

• Identify and get required approval for special Purchase Order terms such as progress billing or extended payment terms.

• Monitor special customer billing portals and assist if necessary to resolve issues to ensure prompt payments.

• Utilize CRM and Dun & Bradstreet software for data processing and collection processes.

• Maintain knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook features to efficiently carry out responsibilities. Requirements - Proficiency in CRM software

• Experience in Data Processing

• Understanding of Collection Processes

• Knowledge of Credit and Credit Application processes

• Familiarity with setting Credit Limits

• Ability to analyze Credit Reports

• Experience with Dun & Bradstreet credit reporting agency

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong decision-making skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred

• Relevant work experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role is desired

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Knowledge of financial laws and regulations is a plus
