Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Process incoming vendor invoices and expense reports accurately and efficiently.

• Verify invoice details, including quantities, prices, and terms, to ensure accuracy.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues promptly.

• Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.

• Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• Proven experience working in accounts payable roles, preferably within the automotive industry.

• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
