Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description Robert Half is seeking an ambitious, experienced Accounting Manager for an immediate opening at a dynamic, progressive company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Major responsibilities

• Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

• Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

• Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

• Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials

• Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Requirements

• Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

• Reliable technology and analytical abilities

• 3+ years of recent relevant financial experience

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• CPA or MBA preferred

• Foundational knowledge in financial reconciliation

• Financial analysis experience highly desired

• Proficiency in cash management

• Accounting management experience desired

• Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel

• Proven knowledge of QuickBooks

• Command of budgeting
