Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our client's accounting team as an Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks under the guidance of senior team members. What you get to do every single day

• Assist in compiling and analyzing financial data to prepare entries for general ledger accounts,

• Support in analyzing financial information to prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports to summarize and interpret the company's financial position.

• Aid in maintaining accurate records of fixed assets, ensuring reconciliation with the general ledger on a regular basis.

• Assist with monthly bank reconciliations by aligning bank balances with the cash balance on the general ledger and cash logs.

Requirements

The ideal Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.

Other requirements for the Accountant position include and are not limited to

• 2+ years of experience in related work

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to learn from senior professionals.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
