Accountant

Description

Orlando company is looking for an Accountant. The company is looking for a minimum of 3+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Accountant will include, but not limited to the following.

• Assist with monthly consolidation procedures.

• Record GL journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Prepare and review ad-hoc analyses including Revenue, GL, and Expense variance analysis.

• Prepare/review monthly reports for month-end close.

• Provide accounting support for departmental inquiries related to financial information.

• Preparation of budget vs. actual Profit & Loss statements and investigation of variances.

• Assist with annual external financial audit.

• Preparation of monthly financial reporting package.

• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.

• Identify and implement continuous process improvements.

• Assist with the external annual financial audit.

• Perform budget variances analysis with explanations of discrepancies.

• Prepare/review monthly reports for month-end close.

• Perform balance sheet, revenue, and expense account reconciliations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience.

• Analytical problem solving skills.

• Collaboration/Teamwork - build relationships across departments
