    About the Role:

    Analyze, evaluate, and report on asset-based borrowers to the ABL Team and Lending Teams, the primary focus is on daily deliverables and defined outputs while developing a broader knowledge base and understanding of Asset Based Lending and the context in which the work is being performed.

    • Manage an assigned listing of accounts within the department portfolio, taking ownership of collateral monitoring responsibilities, which also includes tracking reports, administering delinquent correspondences with the Lending Units as needed, and maintaining all records according to ABL policy.

    • Utilize an Asset Based Lending specific software to streamline and expedite daily efficiencies and production capabilities; inputting appropriate Borrowing Base parameters and monitoring client loan availability.

    • Review and extract appropriate information from recent Credit Approvals and Loan Documentation relative to the Borrowing base parameters; providing updated withholdings to Lending Teams and/or Credit Administration as necessary.

    • Conduct recurring analysis of Borrowing Base Certificates, Accounts Receivables Aging, Accounts Payable Aging, and Inventory Reports on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis as required by Credit Administration approvals; monitoring receipt, inputting financial data to evaluate monthly trends, and preparing detailed calculations of client Borrowing Base for distribution to ABL Team and Lending Teams.

    • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, paying close attention to detail, with enough understanding to identify workable reports, and the capacity and drive to further develop their foundational skills and understanding of Asset Based Lending practices.

    • Exercise critical thinking in Asset Based Lending, while working with supervisors and ABL Account Executives on complexities that deliver learning opportunities. Work output is thoroughly reviewed, and roles at this level will have limited contact outside the immediate work area.

    • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

    • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

    • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

    • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others.

    • May perform other duties as assigned.

    About You:

    • Bachelor's Degree in the field of business, accounting, finance, or another related field or equivalent work experience.

    • Less than 2 years of related banking or similar experience, required.

    • Basic knowledge of bank systems, preferred.

    • Possess excellent analytical interpersonal, written, verbal and organizational skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision.

    • Proficient in Excel with a broad understanding of spreadsheet applications.

    • Demonstrated excellent numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail skills, required.

    Work Style:

    Umpqua Bank offers a Flexible Workplace Program and this opportunity comes with the Full Office work style which is working in office from a designated company location five days weekly.

    We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $24.50 - $36.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
